Tsung-Ling is currently a Research Fellow with Centre for Biomedical Ethics, National University of Singapore. She received her doctorate in law from Georgetown University Law Center, where her dissertation examined the proper role of government and the World Health Organization in the new public health paradigm. Tsung-Ling’s research investigates the complex, at times antagonistic, relationships between the authority of law and the public in three distinct health domains: innovative medical treatments, infectious disease controls and the regulation of risk factors for non-communicable diseases. The common theme that waves through the interrogation in these domains, is the focus on improving governance and addressing injustice through the use of law.
