Sangeetha joined CBmE in December 2014 as a Research Associate. She is currently involved in two projects; the first on the ethics of One Health, zoonotic diseases and pandemic-planning and the second on the ethics of genomic incidental findings and data sharing. She oversees the general management of the research projects by providing administrative support and engaging in data collection and analysis.
Sangeetha graduated from the University of Leeds with a Masters in Global Development and attained her Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences, majoring in Sociology from the National University of Singapore prior to joining the centre.
Sangeetha’s research interests include health and gender issues with a particular focus on developing participatory models of governance and development. These interests have seen her interning in NGOs in Zambia, India and Cambodia.
